Announced in 2024, the Taoke Gigafactory in Taoyuan, Taiwan is the world’s first next-generation battery gigafactory, operating at a capacity of 0.5 GWh and scaling toward 3.0 GWh at max design capacity.
As the anchor of ProLogium’s flexible manufacturing network, Taoyuan supplies complete battery cells globally while also producing battery inlays for the APAC region and the company’s future North America facility, giving ProLogium the flexibility to match supply with demand as it scales worldwide.
In Dunkirk, France, our second gigafactory is under construction with strong government support.
Once operational, Dunkirk will extend ProLogium’s flexible manufacturing network into Europe, supplying complete battery cells globally and battery inlays across Europe and the U.S., reinforcing the company’s global-local production model.
In North America, we’ve initiated discussions with U.S. and Canadian
government agencies and are conducting site selection across multiple U.S.
states, with a model of inlay supply from Asia and Europe paired with partner
assembly in the U.S
ProLogium has the capacity to manufacture complete battery cells and provide
battery cells to downstream manufacturers and partners for final assembly.
This enables global-scale flexibility in manufacturing and business model needs.
