As we took the stage at IAA this year, we reflected on a question: What does the battery of the future truly need to achieve?
Over the past decades, lithium-ion batteries have powered global mobility and the energy revolution. However, their limitations remain clear: safety risks, energy density bottlenecks, and instability under extreme conditions. While the industry has placed high hopes on solid-state batteries, no technology system has yet demonstrated true feasibility for large-scale production.
At ProLogium, we believe the real opportunity lies not in choosing “liquid or solid,” but in creating a balanced solution, one that integrates breakthroughs in chemistry and architecture to deliver on every essential requirement.
After two decades of relentless focus and refinement, we are proud to bring our Gen4 Superfluidized All-Inorganic Solid-State Lithium Ceramic Battery to the world stage. This is not just a laboratory concept, but a verified, mass-producible system. Its core innovations, our patented SF-Ceramion™ electrolyte, 100% silicon anode, and 100% ceramic separator, together define a new standard for next-generation batteries.
We have distilled the essence of the next-generation battery into six core imperatives:
- Intrinsic x Active Safety: a non-flammable material system with built-in active safety mechanisms, capable of effectively controlling thermal runaway even at high energy densities.
- Extreme Performance: ultra-fast charging in minutes, and consistent performance from -20°C to high-speed driving conditions.
- Simple Pack Design: eliminating the need for complex additional pressure modules, enabling lighter and more cost-efficient systems.
- High Energy Density: achieving 400-470 Wh/kg, 940–1100 Wh/L without sacrificing safety.
- Competitive Cost: scalable materials and simplified processes deliver a competitive cost comparable to traditional Lithium-ion batteries.
- Producibility: proven industrial scalability, with GWh-scale lines already operational.
This is more than a technological milestone. It is the foundation for a new ecosystem from materials and cell design to application integration, built in partnership with Europe and beyond.
